The Tempranillo grape is from Spain so we thought the Spanish translation for dessert wine, "Vino de Postre", was a very fitting name. This port-style wine is made with our 2013 Tempranillo grapes with luscious aromas and flavors of cordial cherries, cassis liqueur and vanilla and finishing with subtle notes of chocolate.
Our Black Hat Tempranillo is the star of our mature red wines! Our Winemakers battle to balance the glorious aromas and flavors of warm allspice, red berries, dark chocolate and dusty tannins leading to a silky finish.
Barrel fermented and aged, exotic aromas of pineapple and citrus blossoms mingle with clay and golden apples. Stone fruit and lemon curd dance with warm toast and vanilla across the medium weight palate.
